Fèis Rois and Highland Culture Collective are delighted to announce that booking is now open for the first two of 3 residentials in the series for S1 – S3. They’re a good opportunity to spend time with friends and meet new people, try different activities and bring on confidence in using Gaelic.

The March weekend is the first of two weekends open to Fluent Gaelic speakers. Booking for the third and final weekend (23rd – 25th June in Cromarty) will open nearer the time. Contact Karen if you wish to receive an email when booking opens.
Activities & tutors
Participants will have a choice of activities over the weekend. There will also be free time and evening activities. We’re firming up 2 further activities & tutors and will look forward to sharing the news. Meantime, here the activities and tutors confirmed for the weekend are:

Friday
3.30 – 4pm: Arrival at accommodation and settle in
4 – 5pm: Ice-breakers
5 – 7pm: Dinner
From 7pm: Evening activities
Saturday
9 – 10am: Breakfast
10am – 1pm: Morning activity (with break)
1 – 2pm: Lunch
2 – 4pm: Afternoon activity (with break)
4 – 5.30pm: Free time
5.30 – 7: Dinner
7pm onwards: Evening activities
Sunday
9 – 10am: Breakfast and clear things from the accommodation
10am – 1pm: Morning activity (with break)
1 – 3pm: Lunch & evaluation
3pm: Home time. Participants to be collected / make their own way home by prior arrangement.

All of our tutors, supervisors and staff are experienced and skilled in working with young people and members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme, administered by Disclosure Scotland. Young people are supervised at all times and we work in accordance with Child Protection and Health & Safety Guidelines.

The Old Brewery, Cromarty (Burnside Place, Cromarty IV11 8XQ).The entrance door can be found on Shore Street and there is some parking in front of the venue. All the bedrooms are upstairs and can be only be accessed by the stairs.
The venue will be closed to the public during the weekend and as such, Fèis Rois and Highland Culture Collective will have exclusive access to it.
