From the Highland village of Evanton, Fiona Black is a musician, artist, researcher, writer, history geek and lover of stories. She developed a love of music and dance from a young age, and Feis Rois provided her with the opportunity to nurture this passion. She attended the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music and later the University of Limerick, Cape Breton University, and the University of the Highlands and Islands. Fiona is a founding member of the award-winning band The Outside Track and has toured extensively worldwide over the past decade. She has also worked with Irish concertina player Caroline Keane, Scottish Borders singer and fiddler Lori Watson, and Scottish Highlands and Islands band Beira.
Fiona has returned to living and creating in the Highlands and creates various works inspired by the area's landscape, history, and culture.

Access InfoThe Coffee Room is located on the groundfloor of the Dingwall Community Centre, on the right as you come in the front door.
There is ramp access to the front door.
There are two toilets: these can be found on the ground floor, on the left as you come in the front door.
